SQUINT EYES, WHICH ARE NOTHING BUT CROSSED EYES WHICH ARE NOT IN ALIGNMENT CAN BE CORRECTED BY THE FOLLOWING METHODS
1.
Optical correction – in this method
we give correcting spectacles to the affected eye.
2.
Occlusion therapy – in this method we
occlude the normal eye periodically to bring back the squinting eye to the
straight line
3.
Orthoptic exercises – In this case, a
special instrument, Synaptophore by name
helps in aligning the eyes
4.
Operation – In this case squint
correction operation can be done to align the eyes.
Squint as some laymen presume, is not
a sign of luck, but can lead to amblyopia (Partial blindness) if ignored
